2. Personal data processed

When someone voluntarily contacts me by email, telephone or WhatsApp, I may process their name, contact details, business name, information about the requested project and the content of their communications.

During browsing, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to serve and protect the site. If Google Analytics is configured and you accept its use, it may process pages visited, interactions, browser and device data, online identifiers and approximate geographic location.

I do not request sensitive personal data as a condition for browsing the portfolio or making an initial business enquiry.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data provided directly is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, follow up on proposals, communicate about requested services and meet legal or contractual obligations.

Additionally, with the corresponding consent, browsing information may be used for statistical purposes to analyse site usage and improve its functionality and content.

Personal data will not be used for unsolicited advertising communications without the authorisation required by law.

4. Google Analytics 4

The site may use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to obtain browsing and interaction statistics, only when a measurement ID is configured and you have accepted analytics cookies.

Depending on the enabled configuration, the service may use cookies and identifiers to measure visits, pages viewed, events and general device characteristics.

Before acceptance, the site does not load the Google Analytics script or send analytics requests to Google. You can accept or reject analytics cookies and change your choice using “Privacy preferences” in the footer. Rejecting them does not prevent browsing or use of essential functionality. When you withdraw consent, the site disables Analytics, removes Analytics cookies accessible from this domain and reloads the page to stop previously loaded code. The code configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalisation.

5. Cookies and local storage

The site saves your manually selected visual theme (portfolio-theme) and analytics choice (portfolio-analytics-consent-v1) in your browser’s local storage. Language is determined by the /es and /en routes; it is not saved as a local preference. If the browser blocks this storage, your analytics choice only lasts for the current page and will be requested again after reloading or opening another page.

Technologies needed to remember these preferences are distinguished from those used for statistical measurement.

Visitors can manage cookies in their browser and change their analytics consent using the controls available on the site.

6. External providers

Third-party services are used to operate the portfolio and handle requests:

• Cloudflare: website hosting and distribution, infrastructure and security functions.
• Google Analytics: statistical measurement of visits and interactions, only when configured and with your consent.
• WhatsApp (Meta): communications voluntarily initiated through that platform.
• Email (Google Gmail): receiving and responding to enquiries through bogar.avm@gmail.com. Email and telephone links open your configured application.

WhatsApp links open that platform with a prefilled message; they do not send it automatically. Linked external projects are hosted on Vercel and open only when you choose to visit them, subject to their own policies. They are not embedded content. This portfolio’s images and fonts are served from the site itself; the browser does not request fonts from Google Fonts. The portfolio has no data collection forms.

These providers may process information using infrastructure located outside Mexico, according to their respective functions and policies.

I do not sell personal data to third parties. Any transfer subject to legal requirements will be carried out in accordance with applicable provisions.

7. Retention and security

Data provided during enquiries is retained for as long as necessary to handle requests and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations.

Analytics data retention

The Google Analytics 4 property used on this site is configured to retain event and user data subject to this setting for two months, with the option to reset retention on new activity disabled.

This setting does not necessarily mean that all aggregated statistical reports are deleted after that period. Other data may be subject to Google’s retention policies and terms.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures will be sought to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or misuse.

8. ARCO rights

You may request to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition to the processing of your personal data.

To do so, email bogar.avm@gmail.com with the subject “ARCO rights request”, indicating your name, contact method, the right you wish to exercise and a description of the data related to your request.

Where applicable, proof of identity or representation will be requested.

Requests will be handled within the time limits established by applicable Mexican law.

9. Limiting use and withdrawing consent

You may request to limit the use of your data or withdraw your consent, where legally applicable, by writing to bogar.avm@gmail.com.

For analytics measurement, you may use the consent settings mechanism available on the site.

Withdrawal will not have retroactive effect and will not remove legal retention obligations where they exist.

This notice may change due to changes in site functionality, services used or legal requirements.

Updates will be communicated by publication on this same page with the corresponding date. Consent will be requested again when legally necessary.
